the #bknd foundation
My nature and mindset is to always help people (and BKND). I think this was always inherent being raised by a mother who gave back to the community.
I have devoted the last 10 years to several programs that are operational in the Democratic Republic of Congo, including projects in medicine, health, education, and accessibility.
MIDWIFE TO-GO PROGRAM
This program which consists of providing modern training, medical care, and readily available obstetric resources to midwives living in rural and remote villages in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Since its inception in 2010 the reports have indicated that over 1200 women and children have benefitted from the program thanks to the continued support from private and public donations.
Every year our objective is to equip every midwife with the necessary tools for pregnancy care, child delivery, and postpartum care to women and children where public health programs do not reach or are often ineffective.
With your support today we can reach and support more women and children.

UPCOMING PROGRAMS
My mission for the next several years include partnering with fellow
community-driven organizations such as Centre Kitumaini and Foundations Denise Kupa to increase accessibility for more families in the DRC.
This includes building...
A library.
A career centre.
And more health care centres.
But we can't do this without the support of people like you (especially the African Diaspora). They claim it takes a village - we couldn't agree more.
